Canalith Repositioning/Epley Maneuver

The Canalith Reposition Maneuver (CRM) or Epley Maneuver is the treatment for Benign Proximal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). The CRM is a series of head positions that will help move the calcium crystals back to the base of the semicircular canals so they can be absorbed into the body. The CRM can vary slightly depending on the canal that is affected. When this is performed in the office we will lay you back to the side that is affected. We then will move your head and body into different positions. Following the procedure we will fit you with a cervical collar and give you instructions to follow for the next 48-72 hours.
