Sarah Van Putten, AuD

Dr. Sarah Van Putten was born and raised in Endicott, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from SUNY Cortland in 2023 and earned her Doctorate of Audiology degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2026. She completed her clinical externship at Carolina Ear and Hearing Clinic and later accepted a full time Audiology position at CEHC.

Dr. Van Putten's clinical interests include treatment and intervention of hearing loss for patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics. She has experience working with hearing aids, bone-anchored hearing devices, and cochlear implants. She specializes in vestibular evaluation, treatment, and electrophysiological testing.

Dr. Van Putten is passionate about providing patient-centered hearing healthcare and believes that successful treatment begins with understanding each patient's individual needs and communication goals. She works closely with her patients to develop personalized solutions that improve hearing, communication, and overall quality of life.

Dr. Van Putten is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) with the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. In her spare time, Dr. Van Putten enjoys listening to new music, watching sporting events, spending time with her family and friends, and discovering new places around the Triangle.
